We ask that you please refrain from shopping during the experience, so that we can stay on our food-tasting schedule. We ask you to take note and return to your favourite locations after the tour has concluded. The experiences are planned to arrive at each tasting location within a certain time frame. Therefore, it is important to stay on schedule, so the food is freshly prepared when we arrive.

Food is provided by organic eateries, local market vendors, specialty food shops, and local restaurants. For a better idea of what types of eateries we will visit, a list of the food tasting locations can be found on the Bergen Classic.

Please note, we like to keep things fresh and may change the eateries we visit from time-to-time. But you can be rest assured they will be great and popular amongst the locals!

Children are welcome on most of the tours, but please keep in mind that some children have a limited attention span and therefore a 3 hour tour or event may not be appropriate for them. Parents know their children best and should assess the situation individually. Since there is a lot of walking/standing, please consider if this is appropriate for your child before booking.

We recommend that you eat a light meal before joining us for the Bergen Classic. The amount of food provided on the tours is significant enough that many people delay or skip lunch afterwards, or will opt for a later dinner depending on the tour time.

The maximum number of guests depends on the tour. Our Bergen Classic and Bergen Street Art Tour take a maximum of eight guests per tour. We have chosen this number to make our tours as personable as possible. We want our guests to feel as though they are being shown around Bergen by a friend rather than a tour guide. We welcome questions and personal stories and we feel this would be lost in larger group settings.
