Bergen Food Tours offers food experiences in Bergen. We are seeking passionate, highly energetic, and empathetic people as Food Tour Guides in Bergen. Positions are part time (2-6 tours per week or as needed) from May 2019 to September 2019 with the possibility of an extension.
Our tours last 3 hours in length and run Monday through Saturday. Working hours may vary.
The job includes meeting with guests, explaining the various dishes, and providing a guided walking tour through Bergen. Food Tour Guides will be expected to provide guests with a unique insight to some of Bergen’s best cuisine and iconic dishes. Once hired and trained, Food Tour Guides will receive a competitive salary per tour plus gratuities.
Applicants must be charismatic, have a fun sense of humour and a deep passion for Bergen, its history, culture and of course its food.
WHAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU:
Leading a food tour is a combination of quick thinking on your feet, advanced storytelling, and displaying the ability to connect with people of all ages and cultures. If you think you have the skills and traits required, please apply before available positions are filled.
